Newport - GO Rec Rental
Equipment is available to be picked up at the Community Recreation Center, Building 656 on Thursday or Friday and returned to the Community Recreation Center, Building 656 on Monday or Tuesday ONLY.
Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance, with payment required at the time of booking. GO Rec Rental is closed Saturdays & Sundays, equipment is available to be picked up on Thursday or Friday and returned on Monday or Tuesday ONLY between 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM. Patrons will only be charged for a one day fee regardless of what day they pick up/return equipment.
Equipment is inspected upon return. Customers are responsible for repair or replacement cost of equipment that is damaged or lost. (NOTE - Customers must notify attendant of any unacceptable condition at check-out, or accept responsibility for condition upon return.) Equipment must be returned clean. Minimum $15 cleaning/repacking fee for rental items that are returned dirty/not repacked as originally rented.
For command reservations, please contact the MWR Concierge Office at least two weeks in advance.
This MWR facility is open to Active-duty personnel, Reservists, Retirees, Dependents, Veterans, DoW civilians, and Contractors with valid ID & base access. MWR has gone cashless, all major credit cards are accepted.
